Eva Storch was born into a Jewish family in Bukowitz (Polish: Bukowiec) in the rural district of Schwetz (Polish: Świecko) on 18 May 1914. Together with her parents Rosa and Heimann Storch and her sister Hilde, she moved first to Frankfurt an der Oder and in 1929 to Fürstenwalde, where the family ran a shop for ladies’ and men’s wear. After her apprenticehip as a furrier, Eva lived in Berlin-Friedenau. In December 1938, she married Josef Prager and moved in with him at Wallnertheaterstraße 28 in Berlin-Mitte.

On 3 February 1943, Eva and her husband were deported on Transport No. 28 to the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp, where they were murdered. Her sister Hilde managed to escape to England; her parents were deported to the Warsaw Ghetto in 1942. Nothing further is known about their fate.
