Elsbeth Naeser was born on 3 March 1888. She was a resident at the Samaritan Institutions Fürsten­walde/Spree in Ketschendorf. In the course of “Aktion T4”, a mass-murder campaign involving the involuntary euthanasia of sick and disabled people, she was transferred – via a number of other institutions – to the State Sanatorium and Mental Hospital in Bernburg on the River Saale. She was murdered there in the euthanasia programme’s killing centre on 27 November 1940.
