Locations of Stolpersteine

Locations of Stolpersteine

Shortly before the end of World War II, a large part of Fürstenwalde’s town centre was more or less reduced to rubble. During the reconstruction work that started in the 1950s – parts of which were only completed after 2000 – the historical structure of the town underwent change and areas containing new buildings arose, with some street names being altered. The map shows the locations of Stolpersteine in the town as it currently stands, with the biographical notes also indicating the historical addresses. The public places of Jewish life in the town before 1945 are indicated separately. In addition, the map marks the places of residence of further victims of National Socialist terror for whom Stolpersteine have not yet been laid.

We are continually working to research new names, places and biographies with the aim of adding them to the map.
