Martha Wolfsky was born into a Jewish family in Grünberg (Polish: Zielona Góra) on 14 May 1883. She lived with her parents Gustav and Johanna Wolfsky (née Halpert) and her sister Amalie in Fürstenwalde. Martha and Amalie worked in the fashion and fabric shop of Walter Heilbut in Fürstenwalde. Later, Martha lived in Berlin-Charlottenburg. On 13 January 1942, she was deported to the ghetto in Riga. Nothing further is known about her fate. Her sister Amalie Heilbut was in the same transport.
